Like I said before, I am not above shamelessly copying the great ideas you all share. I do have a few semi-original ideas to share soon, but in the meantime, here’s a peak at some of what I’ve copied lately.
First up, some epsom salt candles. I “borrowed” this idea from Karla. And sure enough, it’s as easy as they made it sound! Just spread on some mod podge (or, in my case, watered down school glue), then roll in epsom salts. My kids did these and I think they will be part of this year’s teacher gifts:
Next up, some glitter trees “inspired” by the sisters at 1825 (why did I not discover this blog sooner?!). Theirs look even better than mine, due to that gorgeous backdrop, but I’m pretty happy with mine too:
Finally, after Sarah showed off her exterior decorations yesterday, I ran right out and bought the exact same bows she used on her lanterns. Now our front porch has just a teeny bit more punch:
Finally, I haven’t had time to steal this one yet, but I’m totally going to. Robyn‘s candy cane display is simply too cute not to copy:
Oh wait — one more. I don’t know whose idea this was, but I’m sure it wasn’t mine 🙂 Hot cocoa reindeers, made by the kids:
